This release focuses on making chat sessions more reliable, especially during streaming and page reloads. It also strengthens sign-in flows and includes an important security patch.
New Capabilities
Persistent text streaming is now supported, helping chat responses continue smoothly even if your connection drops or you reload mid-stream. The chat experience also includes better reconnection support so active streams are easier to resume.
A changelog button has been added to the dashboard, giving you quick access to product updates at updates.osschat.dev.
Stability, Sign-In, and Security
React hydration and reload stability has been a major focus in this release. Multiple fixes address hydration mismatches and infinite re-render loops that could appear after streaming completes, when reloading chats, or when rendering sidebar and scroll-related UI.
WorkOS sign-in has been refined to prevent OAuth callback errors and improve reliability. GitHub OAuth users are now supported through an email verification flow when verification is required, including a dedicated verification page and resend support.
Security: Next.js and React were updated to patch CVE-2025-55182, a critical vulnerability affecting React Server Components that could allow remote code execution under certain conditions.
